Well, im just wondering what happened to everyone on the 4th. I took about 10 cheapo sparklers, with the wood handles and everything, and put em together. Well, i proceeded to light them(in my hand) and for some reason i didnt pick up how much wind there was. A HUGE puff of smoke blew up from the sparklers right into my face as i was inhaling. Yep, i took an entire lungfull of smoke, it wasnt fun.

I decided to sleep on it, however it still burns this morning when i cough. It was very scary, i couldnt breathe at all, then i got my breath back more and more and then later, like 2 hours after it happpened, i burped, and i burped out smoke, it was pretty cool.

For me, this was probably one of the best nights of my life...

It all started when I drove over to my gf's house and we hung out there, we could both tel tonight was going to special. We went swimming an such, waiting for the night to grow dim, and when we heard the words from her parents "LEts head out", we were excited to say the least.

We arrived at the LakeEire Metro Park and immediately found the perfect spot atop a hill facing the spot where the fireworks would be launched. As we sat there, her in my arms, we both smiled and whsipered "I love you". The night was perfect.

And just as the fireworks began, my gf felt the need for a photo op, so she ahdned the camera to her sister, and took pictures. I never smiled so much in my life. As the midnight hour grew near, she grew tired, and on the ride home we both fell asleep, her in my arms.

Now I know this may seem extremely "uncool" and "gay" to some, but I was just sharing an amazing expereince, now let the flames begin...

Why flame? You had a great time with your girl, and the picture to prove it. By God, that's what the day is all about boy, the freedom to sit and watch freedom in action!

hooah for you!

I lounged around in my pool all day on my float drinking Corona's and listening to Everclear. Very, very nice.

Heck I may do it again today!

ZSigErik, that's so sweet, why would you get flamed for that?

Hey Erik! Sounds like you had a good time. Spending a nice moment with the one you care about is something special and you shouldn't worry about what we think. :)

As for me, I just spent a nice quiet time at home with a very special friend. Just watched a movie together and laughed all night long. Definitely one of the best 4th of July experiences I've had to share with someone. :D

Load, don't you have like a job? oh well, have fun.:)

I blew stuff up with cherry bombs my cuz got for me in Mexico. I made three trips to Kroger to buy fruit to explode.

Then I played some p-ball in the back with some kids in the neighborhood. My new nitrogen system seemed to confused them.

Then k8 came over and she took a nap on my bed like she does everyday waiting for me to come home from work. We went to Taco bell for some grub and she drove. I was too tired to drive. We then went and got her stuff and played paintball from about 7 to 2 this morning with some kids. We would break periodically to watch the fireworks. She stayed at my place overnite and we slept until 11. Good times.

lol me and my friends went to the parade, started a huge water fight on the sidewalks. Managed to get water on like every single float (squirt guns, ballons, cups filled up any thing we could get our hands on)

Then instead of going to fireworks we chilled and blew some stuff up. Made a molotov out of WD40 and some other stuff, we thought it was a dud then it went wooooooosh and a mushroom cloud 6th high shot up... fun stuff

Same here, dad burnt the lamb roast. Mom got mad, dad said it wasn't his fault, more yelling, and then we just stopped talking for a while... pretty much the same every day... And as for any 4th of July thing we did.... we ate burnt Lamb roast and sat in the house, watching TV or Playing on the comp, and yelling at the dogs to shut up cause they kept barking at the fireworks...

I went up to a beach cottage on the eastern shore of Va and went boating and fishing in the bay and then ate crabs and had a cookout until I started blowing things up using the cheap fireworks we bought.

WOW, I wish I could have done just some of the stuff you guys and girls did. I spent the night working my butt off trying to save all the sick dogs and cats in my part of NJ.
But then again who needs 4th of july to play with fireworks, i'll light them off after the pepsi 400 saturday night.

I worked Wednesday July 3rd from 11:00pm to the next morning at 7. Did the same thing Thursday July 4th. Unfortunately, casinos are open 24/7/365. The only good thing about having to work on the 4th is double time and a half.

yesterday i went to watch the fireworks with some friends then we came home and lit a lot of stuff off at my house. tonight i went to my dads friends house where he lit off a ton of fireworks. he had about 10 cases of artilery shells, about 20 batterys/cakes and we also had some C class artillery shells. the C class ones were 3 inch shells. it was awesome seeing these things, they are the ones used at baseball games. after about an hour of artilley shells we went home.

down here in southern arizona, we didn't have fireworks at all, and if you were caught with fireworks.... big trouble!

If you have seen on the news, we have a huge wildfire, and several others that have been luckily extinguished.

It hasn't rained down here for almost 4 STRAIGHT MONTHS!! It's crazy. I'm starting to forget what rain looks like.

Oh well, hopefully next year it will be moist enough to have fireworks:(
