Hi there,

Just wondering what the difference was between a level 6 and level 7 Automag? I've got a level 6 and I stopped playing for a while. Now I'm trying to get back into it and I have no clue what the difference is.

i think the lvl6 mags have an accessable air chamber/dump chamber. u could take it apart by unscrewing this spiral clip. but the lvl 7s cant come apart, they are permanently shut. other than that i think they are pretty similar.

in the lvl 7 mag manual it said they enlarged the air chamber to decrease paint breakage or something. U can get them upgraded to lvl 7 for free just send it in to AGD.

LVL 6 also has power tube springs not spacers.

ont he AGD web site, it says that they wont be giving the upgrades for free any more

Level 7 came with springs

Can you unscrew your power tube from the valve body? Not just the tip, but the entire tube, including part of the base. If you can't, then you have a level 7, if you can, you probably have a level 7. I believe that a few of the VERY early level 7's had the screw off power tube.
