I'm new to this bolt break down and I'm having trouble getting it up and running. My current problem is that I get a leak from the back of the valve where you put the wrench in to adjust velocity. Any clues on what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks

Chris

you have the reg screwed in too far if u have to have it in that far to shoot then you need to go one spring size smaller ,break in the spring your usin, or use a bigger carrier

that venting means you have the velocity set to high....

goto the LV10 info thread and make sure everything is setup right....

i'm thinkin off-hand (and on very little sleep) you need to:

turn the velocity down so teh leak stops and go another 1/2 turn
if it still wont fire right/at all switch to the next smaller spring in the kit...

that should clear it up also if possible put it over a chrony to dial it right in....

^i am with him, your velocity is too high with the current spring you have so go to the next size smaller. Or try the other things Trans said.

I went to my paintball field today and still had problems getting level 10 working flawlessly. My problem is that I can't get it to fire without it leaking out of the back still. I slowed down the velocity on the middle bolt to were it wouldn't leak but it fires at 200fps. I switched to the smallest spring and when I fire at 280fps it leaks out the back still. I don't know what I should be doing or what I'm doing wrong but if you guys could offer me some more help or tips that would be great. Heres my setup so far:

Retro Mag
1.5 Carrier
2 shims
Smallest spring

Thanks

Chris

How old is your mag? Your spring pack may be worn out and weakened. You may need to get a new spring pack.
