valve age

how do you tell how old your valve is?

I think there is this problem...with AGD valves...its like...they don't age.. I mean..they only get scratches which cause character, I'm sure the serial number has something to do with their birthday, but as far as determining an age of the valve.. I don't believe its possible. ;)
