I have a RT valve in my minimag,
and using a PMI Pure Energy 68CI 3000 Psi tank. The gun seems to be using excessive air and I have to refill every 3 to 4 games. Can you guys help me? Its it the tank or are mags just like that?

3-4 games? I have a crossfire 68ci 3000psi tank and if I'm actually playing and not just crusing behind a bunker, I have to refill my tank after every game. You should be getting at least 600+ shots from a full fill.

At most you should get 700 shots out of a 68/3000, 3000psi=10 shots per ci 4500psi=15 shots per ci

unhh...maglovercoco, no mags don't need any pressure to re-cock..the spring does that...what they do need...is more pressure to overcome the resistance of the spring. They aren't really gashogs...they just need high prssure air to be used :) No less than 400 psi (that pushing it)

Mags arent gas hogs.... Go shoot a matrix or a shocker. Those guns are PIGS! But if you would like to get more shots per tank you can try a few things. Turn the velocity down a bit. You wont shoot as far and you'll have more bouncers on your targets, but you'll get more shots per tank. Also, you should try a non-ported barrel. Ports do 2 things: make the gun quiet, and make it less efficient. Despite what you may have heard, heavily ported barrels arent any more accurate than non-ported ones. Also, make sure that your paint matches your barrel. A bad match can kill your efficiency (not to mention your accuracy!).

Hey guys,
Thanks for your input. I guess there is nothing to worry about.
By the way, FrAuStY is right, the bolt spring re-cocks the gun.
