is there any way to connect to AOL, or CompuServe, on Linux Mandrake 7.2?

uh i use aim on mandrake 8.1, but i dunno about aol, thank god too. U should just get another isp.

I use AIM on linux, they make a Linux version of AIM. I think too install CS or AOL on linux you would need to know alot about the files, such as tar.gz and all that, which i dont know how to do (yet)

As far as I know there is no direct Linux version of AOL, but you could try to run it through WINE ...
I know it can be done through VM Ware but its a huge memory hog.

i want another ISP but i cant for like 2 or3 years, because when my dad bought my new computer he signed up for 4 Years of CS so he got like $500 of the comp, and now im stuck with it.
Edit: im new to Linux, and is there anything that is the equivelant to CTRL+ALT+DEL on Linux(im using KDE if that matters) one of my programs crashed and i cant close it.

CompuServe is basicly the same thing as AOL because AOL owns it. It just looks different. They use the same access numbers, and the same screen names.
