Has anyone downloaded the game? It's messed up on my comp. I have texture problems with a Raedon 8500 video card.
Any suggestions?

Get a new video card. 64 mb ddr agp geforce 4 that will solve all of your problems, well at least with video games

no problems here, and I'm running the same card.

omg you just didnt actualy try to say that radeons are better than geforces, too bad that every benchmark test proves you wrong.

There's no way I'm going to shell out a lot of money just so I can use a video card which isn't better than mine.

You sure they aren't just cheating on the drivers again? Haha. Any manufacturer that has to do that to win the stats war

Even if it were a smidgeon faster (shrugs) It's still an ATI. :p

would be pretty funny if they tried again...
My next comp will probably have a gf4 ti4400.
Don't feel like spending 400 bucks on a fricking video card.

It works on my computer. Personally I think that as a game it stinks. There goes millions and millions of our tax dollars...

One of the reasons so many people may be having problems is that the game uses a brand new engine, from Unreal 3. Slower video cards need not apply...

Just a guess.

i donno about u but the 8500's dusted the geforces when they first came out but look at them now...THEY SUCK. face it ati just doesn't have an edge anymore...nvidia is gonna buy them out and monopolize the market.

and back on topic i got the army game and its pretty fun.

That game is so friggin complicated, i just started playing it, and it is weird. I mean, first off, they didn't release a full version so when you download a patch things are bound to get messed up when the comp tries to merge the files, and then there's the fact that a lot of the maps are practice and yuou have to practice to upgrade and stuff, and it's really weird, i dno, i've gotta friend who knows a lot about it, so i gotta tlk to him.

You know one of the companys, i cannot remember the name is making a 256DDR Video card, A HAH i remember, Matrox is making it...it will beat out all video cards and be most popular(until Geforce steals the design and makes a Geforce 5)

ummm just b/c it has more ram doesn't mean its going to beat out all cards...moron(:p )...i odnno if u have seen any benchmarks lately but the 64mb and 128mb gf4 ti4200's are neck in neck in lower res's and even in some higher ones. so the core clock of the gpu has to be good or it'll still suck. samething with the gf3 ti200's with the 64mb and 128mb versions there is like a 1fps performance difference. now the only time when alot of ram is needed is in the future when better games come out. now the only game that truley utalizes 128mbs of ram is jedi night 2. but when u will need 256mb of ram is definatly when doom 3 comes out...that games gonna be sick.
