I bought an AGD spacer kit to install in my mini. I thought I had a spring but it turns out I already had a spacer in there. It is an aftermarket spacer and it is smaller than the smallest spacer from AGD. I put the middle one in and it leaked down the barrel, so I went to the smallest and it still leaked down the barrel. I don't have any smaller ones, why is this happening? If i put the aftermarket back in it's fine.

If the original one is smaller than the rest of the ones in the spacer kit and works while all of the ones in the kit leak is because the pt o-ring is able to seal around the power tube piston with the original spacer (as the o-ring is farther forward in the pt when gassed up) while all of the spacers in the kit push the o-ring too far back to seal around the piston and thus leaking occurs. Stick with the original one would probably be your best bet or if you have problems with bolt stick sand it down a little. Hope this helped.

did you change the pt o-rings when you change the spacer?
