im trying to chrono my retro valve and the first shot is really hot. not the first shot holding the trigger. its the first inital shot. its like 308 then if i go to the regular chrono procedure for the rt i get between 265 and 280. if i let the valve cool down again the first shot is hot.

sounds like the reg seat between the reg and the airchamber is bad.... replace that and you should be set

Oil it up... If that doesnt work, replace the reg seat...

Virus is correct, that problem is most commenly caused by a bad or dry reg seat o-ring. Even if the valve is new, the o-ring could cause you some problems.

Put some oil on the reg seat and see if that works, if not, replace it.

try adjusting your tank and your velocity..my teammate micromag was doin sumthing weird..it was shooting at 500fps..then back down to 100..then i messed with the output pressure and the velocity and i got it working..if that doesnt help..try the reg seat
