I was wondering hat you guys thought was the most consistent tank, the only tank that i have seen(and have) that has given the flucuation of the output is a crossfire and it is +-10psi output. I really have no clue what is the most consistent, wether it be a dualreg or a single preset reg.

Thanks in advance

max-flo and air america are really good tanks

crossfires are the best presets

If you can deal with a preset, according to Crossfire, their tank is the most consistant of ANY tank out there. They demonstrate it in public, using guages. I havn't looked into it too much, but it seems they are honest.

If you need an adjustable, then I'd reccomend the max-flow.

With my friend's flatline I chrono'd in at like 279-280-281-280-278

And when it's that close there is hardly any difference.

Running a 2K1 'Flo with a gutted minireg, my Angel chrony's in at +/- 0fps usually, +/-1fps on a bad day.

Crossfires are excellent, but they are hampered by the quality of the inline regs, which is admittedly not an issue with Mag's.

For presets, Crossfire tanks are very good. I wish I had a digital camera to prove the following statement, but alas, I am way too cheap.
While chronoing last Sat with an eight year old mag with Level 10, and a Crossfire, I had 5 shots in a row of 285. Variance was only +/- 2 fps overall for the day. It was a good feeling especially considering the grotesque ranges I was seeing from some of the 1500 dollar setups (probably user ignorance, but a good feeling just the same).

Not that I'm trying to start anything but the Angel A.I.R. is supposed to be one of the most consistent Adjustables out there.

From what I've read.

From what I have seen at the fields, they are very good. But, they are pricey.

It's when you take the internals out of a minireg to make it a gas through grip.

What is better Flatline or Max Flow

I'm looking for a new tank and was thinking of one of these. I have a Air America Raptor 114/4500 now.

ok might i add something to this??

ok for of you all that use crossfire or who knows alot.. ok heres a ? for you...
i had the 68,45 crossfire on a dz2 adapter, then threw 12" hose and two 90* fittings f macro.. it was 100% awesome... no drop off..

no i have the dz2, then 90* macro, 2inches of macro.. then another 90*... then through a spyder thred adapter ot a syper forgrip.. then through a 90*, 6" of macro then to the valve.. (only reason i used the spyder forgrip was b-c it was way shorter then most.. and with the dz2 not much works.. and i even had to take some metal off to make it work right..)

and synce my tank is offset.. with a pink 12" marco.. it just had to go.

what u think? oh i havent played this way yet. (hopefuly my speedball field will be done by friday)

I've never used the Flatline, but I own a Max-Flo, and I can say from experience, it is VERY consistent. I've never tested it with gaufes, but over the chrono, it will usually fire within +/-5fps, when environmental conditions are correct.

you might want to contact Crossfire and see if they'll take a look at your tank...if you're getting fills from dirty tanks you could be having a flow problem because of a dirt and/or rust obstruction in your reg...

Why not pick up a Kapp Foregrip extender... I have a very similar setup to you and that cured all my "space" problems.
