Guys I have a Big problem.

This is starting to bug me.
Basically this all started with me falling in love with the micromag. I want one so bad, but my mom wont let me sell me gun to get one. I think my setup is very heavy, sloppy, and ugly.
The setup wieghs 9.5 pounds.
The thing is, I cant make it any lighter.
Its starting to piss me off, my mom wont let me sell anything because of how much you have to sacrifice when you sell used items. I agree with her because the most I could get out of my gun is 400 and I have spent atleast 700 (including things not shown in that pic) on my mag.
Thats 300 bucks. It really is insane.
Im just sick of my mag. Its reliable, but now Im realising how much I would rather have a lighter, more clean setup.
I have 30 bucks and that also buggs me.
I get 4 bucks a week.
I need ways to make money. I can find some I suppose but none will give me the income I need to play paintball. I can get 60 bucks in one day once a month at my dads monthly coin show. Thats pretty much the only way I can get money, and I have to work a whole day doing something I know nothing about. Reffing isnt a choice because the field I go to you have to be 14 to even volenteer, and 16 to work.
Im just really depressed and sick of my life on top of everything. I cant buy and not sell because of my lack of money and also because my mom thinks I put too much money into paintball. I play maby once a month, and I would play more, If I earned more. My mom says I dont play enough to be buying all these 'gadgets' for my paintball gun.
Well the truth is, I WOULD play 4 times a month if I had the TRANSPORTATION and MONEY. Life is hard for a 13 year old paintballer. My mom wants me to get another hobby.
Guess what, Im really not that good at anything besides paintball. I got a new hobby: mountian biking. noo I need more. She is really starting to make me mad.
I suppose I just need advice, Im really upset.

Well it sux being that young, old enough to do stuff but to young to pay for it. The only thing I can say is to wait until your old enough to get a job and get one. Just keep your grades up and don't get in trouble and life will get better.

sorry to sound mean about this but try and do 50 pushups every morning for the whole rest of the summer. It'll get you into better condition to carry your mag around. I'm a fricken wimp but I started to do morning pushups and situps a while back before the summer started and I find myself in a lot better condition to play and carry my mag around... BUT, my setup weighs less.

i have to agree with foo do some pushups. thatll make you stronger. id also lose the warp. your small enough as is and thatll take away a pound off your gun. but your still young so you still have to hit puberty and when you do youll be much stronger and will be able to handle your mag.
keep it you dont want a micro mag. their almost the same thing as regular mags. ask 845 hes small and has a micro.

I know I need to do pushups, I was doing them, but then I got out of the habit somehow.. 9.5 pounds is alot to be running around the field with.. thats 9.5 with a full tank and no paintballs. I also think I should loose the warp. Except like I said, my mom wont let me sell it. I can take it off and let it just collect dust but I also want vertical feed if im going to not use a warp because I like the balenced feel.

person...i might take that warp of yer hands..... dude...ur 13.....what do you expect...... you dont even have too many responsibilities (sp?) try it when ur 16 and have to manage work, football practice EVERYDAY (except weekends), and highschool...then u'll be fed up with life....for now..enjoy middle school, sell 2 of ur barrels and ur warp for some extra cash to play with (for 1 tiem a month u dont need 3 barrels and a warp:rolleyes: ) and start savin buddy

It happened like this. The one on the top (PMI Ceramic) came with my gun. Then I bought a 2002 AA and the paint match was horrible. THE HIGHEST PRICE I GOT OFFERED FOR MY 90 DOLLAR BARREL THAT WAS ONLY USED TWICE WAS $50!
Anyway I ended up trading it for the black barrel(Taso Winforce) and my Taso Proseries is what I think it is(on the gun). The barrels that arent on the gun are only worth maby 20 bucks imo. Like I said, unless your willing to pay close to the new price, I dont think my mom would let me sell the warp.

Come on you sissies, 50, bah, I do 100 regular, 75 fingertip, in a row. I weigh 135, bench 170. But I started low. I did like 10 fingertips to start, and have been doing them for a year. Also, run like 1.5 miles three times a week, you'll get in better shape. And HIT THE GYM. I go Mon, Wed, Fri, to lift, do legs and upper body, plus 150 crunches two sets and 120 v-ups two sets every day. Plus stretch, then I run tues, thur, sat, then fingertips tues, thur, sat. Yeah, do that, in shape.

Oh, and I'll buy your warp if you wanna sell.

Did your mom buy you all this stuff? Because if she didn't, then how does she know the value of all of it. You should explain to her, items used lose value, just like a car. That's why you have to sell for less. Tell her it won't make a difference whether you sell it now or then, your going to lose money either way, more by waiting. I'm sure though your mom won't know the exact value of each individual piece. Really though, I doubt a Micromag will make a huge difference in the weight, at most my guess is one pound. Getting ligther weight will need you to use lighter materials, such as a fiber wrapped tank. If you still want the Micromag body and such, they do sell body kits but be prepared to spend, as they cost over $300 last I checked. If it comes down to it, you could easily sell your warp, 2 barrels, and maybe a few other things to get money. And as for getting money, go around the neighborhood telling people you'll watch their pets or mow their lawns, etc. Also, Kroger and Chickfila hire at 14 when you get that age.

Yes being young sucks, but I dont have that problem. I get 15 bucks a week, if I need money for new stuff I sell my old stuff. I have a like weekely income from selling my old stuff. I dont know how your setup can weigh 9 1/2 LB. I have an emag with a steel tank, with a full 12v revvy with paint it only weights 6 pounds :eek:. Just find stuff you room to sell, so you can get new stuff.

She knows the value pretty much.. she let me buy everything.. I had to beg her to get the warp... now what am I supposed to do? Beg her to let me get rid of it?

heres what i would do to make money. i would go around to neighbors houses and ask if their any chores that you can do for them and tell them its to fund a hobby... make sure you dont goto someone you or your parents dont know though.
do your aunts, uncles, older cousins have a place that you can help clean up or do some basic work for? my aunt owns a resturant and ive been working almost a year there and if i didnt keep buying stuff for my guns i could paly every other week with money left over

put out flyers in your neighborhood do the yard work for bout 5 dollars a hr i got up 150$ in about a month for workin once a week at the same place when i was 14-15 played my first big game off that money if you could make 150 a month you could play once and put up whats left over and start saving for stuff.... and workin only once a week would give you plenty of time off.... well it worked for me for a while hope something works out for you

well right there we found your problem, my cousin had the same problem with his gun too....GET RID OF THAT RETARTED STEEL TANK!!!!!!!and buy like a cheapo kingman tank he did that sucker is way lighter then the steel tank that should drop the weight a few try that and then complain more :rolleyes:

*edit*basically lose anything stainless on the gun besides valve and body and you can even cut the body down to save weight like on the back of the gun measure where the on off goes to. then cut it down to teh body rail and then cut across to the back of the gun and there goes some stainless and cut the body down to a warp body, never mind that not many lefties around so leave it a powerfeed.

Matt Crawford: I would mow lawns except there are about 3 other kids mowing lawns in my neighborhood, and the people who dont get their lawns mowed by their sons/kids in my neighborhood get their lawn mowed by a service (sadly my family gets our lawn mowed by a service)

speedballbanks: I would loose the steel tank, but like I said my mom wont let me sell things. It makes everything more complicated. I have looked into fiber wrapped tanks and they are all around 150 for a preset 68/3000.

InfanityBPS: Its really hard to play with 4 bucks a week but sometimes I scrap up more money somehow. I try to play with under 1000 paintballs, and I always make it.

Micros are nice and seem to get a bad rep for some reason. Also do what I did with the Micro when your parents say you cant get a new gun and you have a cooperative dad have him charge it into the bank account then pay him. Hide the gun for a while from your mom. Next time she sees it tell her that this is an old gun and I have had it forever. This actually worked for me.

Guys, after much thinking I have decided to work out a little, get an intelliframe, and maby trade my tank.
If anyone is interested in my tank the hydro date is something something 01 so its got about 4 years on it.
Its pretty new, I belive I got it early january.

I know how you feel, I'm only 14, I got my mag for Christmas too, but I saved up, it takes time yes but I did it, I get paid for mowing the yard, taking out the trash etc., so I earned money that way, during the school year my parents gave me 10 bucks a week for lunch, I used to just give my friends the change whenever they needed it or just not pay attention to it, but then I started saving all my change, it may not seem like much at first, because well it isnt, but if you stick with it, and dont spend it and just save it all up, by the end of the school year, you'll have a ton of cash to spend on paintball, and next year you'll be able to volunteer to ref at your feild, thats kinda what I did at mine, I just started going as often as I could playin until one day when it was pretty busy since they knew me so well they asked me to help ref, ever since I go every saturday and some sundays and some fridays to ref, I get to jump in a couple of games and I get free air and free paint and I dont have to pay entry fee, so I get to play maybe 3 to 4 games regularly every saturday, then another 3 to 4 games on sundays and fridays, and besides that all the refs get discounts on items at the proshop, so I get all my stuff I order from them around 40% off. So just keep at it, save up, and hang in their for a about a year.

I just found out my brother broke the front brakes on my bike. Pretty much one of the three valuable things I own and am proud of. My mag, My bike, and My computer. Im pissed off at him anyway because he always uses my computer and my bike and my paintball gun. ITs almost like I dont own them. Then on top of that I cant do what I want because his fricking ugly girlfriend is her 12/7 and I get no peace. If she was using my computer I would just explode and punch her to death. On top of that, he wont let me use his cocker, or his computer, or anything else for that matter, while I am forced to let him use everything I own including my CD player (just recently found out it was broken and now I dont have one) and my airsoft gun.
Whats the best way to get back at him? I was thinking take his cocker without asking and bring it to an AO meet and loan off my mag for a couple of rounds and play with the cocker. I occasionally use his computer when he isnt here and I have a friend over but I almost never have friends over..
Oh btw, I have been homeschooled for the past couple of years and Im going to a private school this year that you have to bring your lunch to.

well, take out the bolt on his cocker stick allen wrench that works for grip frame screws( on most guns i think) and then stick it in the top hole of his cocker, and play move the cocking rod back a couple mm's and then turn it a couple times either way and then make fun of him when his gun dosent work. Or you could go on his comp and download ... ummm "bad" things and tell your parents that you found them on his comp:)

Personman, start charging your brother to use your things or simply just lock them up. If there yours, then he shouldn't use them without asking. Get a bike lock, by a lockable chest, and put a log in on your computer to keep him off. Oh, and tip your parents off on the porn. ;) And another thing, I know Paintball Atlanta hires refs at 14. I know your 13, but you can easily tell them your 14 as they don't put in much effort into really finding your age (I used to ref there, I was really 14 but all I did was call over the phone and I became a ref and I just picked my days each week).

Just put his bolt in upside down, that screws things up, unless he's not really dumb. Or, you could take out his jackhammer a bit before a game and he'll blend quite a few balls, or you can work out and then he won't mess with your stuff, or you can be really mean and untime his gun, which isn't hard, just flick it.

i bought my first gun at 12, i think, it was around there. keep your gun, as a backup, or to let friends or cuzins use them, in case they wanna go with you. you could sell parts, like the warp, or other non-essentials, or sell other stuff. this sounds dorky, but i used to have 3 of the been bag animal toys, i sold them for like $500, bought a psx a spyder (i dont know what i was thinking on that purchase), and bubble gum, a whole lot of bubble gum. save the $4 a week to, it will add up. i dont get money from parents on for allowance. also you could mow lawns for about $20 a pop, do 3 or 4 neibors lawns a week, then you will get some serious cash.
