LOL, Our Mystery Phase II Body Rails...

Apparently our machinist went to jail for 3 months for kicking the crap out of 3 guys who broke into his house.

The judge said his actions went above and beyond "self defense"

Needless to say those 3 guys won't even be thinking about breaking into his house anymore.

Stay put the rails, could actually make it into production.

That was an unsuspected reason. I think in Illinois or maybe Iowa you can shoot some body on your lawn if they refuse to identify themselves :D

Still heavy? Enter Phase II. Phase II is an exercise in weight savings. Initially many would think that majority of the weight was in the Stainless Steel body. Wrong. The majority of weight is found in the body rail. The block of metal in between the main body and the trigger frame… the one with WINGS. This body rail has been skeletonized removing as much material as possible without causing undue stress on the metal. Other attempts had caused fractures or cracking in the rail. 5 months and 4 cracked body rails later, we will be introducing the Phase II Emagnum Body rail and trigger grips. The kit will also come with aluminum selector switch to replace the plastic one.

is this still the plan for phase 2 or just the rail??

Nothing is set in stone now. The machinist is still getting used to home life :) The proto rails should be returned to us within the week.
