I experienced an accidental discharge while gassing up my LX Emag. Finger was not on trigger, safety off, batt off, electro mode.

My advisory for LX users
-have barrel plug on when gassing up
-don't gas up with paint loaded
-don't shoot holes in your ceiling

You have been warned.

well, first off, you should always gass up in manual mode. you should hold down the trigger while you do it also, so it may have been user error....but your saftey tips are smart, and you should already do that

Keeping your safety on is a good idea as well.

Check your sear it might be worn. Something like that is not related to LVL10.

That used to happen to me when I gassed up my RT. That WAS holding down the trigger. Now I don't hold the trigger and it doesn't happen.

Like Tom said the gun going off has nothing to do with the LX.

I had my hyperframed mag do that a few times till i got hte shim adjustment correct and the carrier broken in, I think the bolt didnt get returned all the way while trying to degas the gun, so when you turn on the air again it fires once. Just my $0.02

I thought it might be LX related due to the fact that it hadn't happened with my Level 7 in 20,000 rounds, yet the third time I gassed up the LX it shot off.

Will have the safety on next time. :D

Additionally, I have noticed after I installed the LX, the on/off seems to stick downwards. After degassing(proconnect), I have to pull the trigger to remove the valve.

Edit: I think that is due to the different pressure behind the bolt while degassing.

Anyways LX rules!

in the vid it tells you to pull the trigger while taking off the valve anyways...
you're learning everything the hard way huh:p

i had that problem when lvl 10 would refuse to fire(beacuse i have it very fine-tuned). I just upgraded to a RT valve, and so when i would have the problem, i would de-gas and then re-gas. I hold the trigger, and more often than not, it fires when gassing up.

you put up a good point veg but you should keep the trigger depressed and that would mean that the sear wouldnt be in front of the bolt.
