I have heard of retro valves becoming hot (to the touch) after long strings, but my classic valve does the same thing when im shooting on it. is there something wrong or am I just shooting really fast?

That happened to me when I had my classic...I don't think anything's wrong.

No worries. Just a fuction of the air moving extremely fast through a comparatively narrow space, creating a decent bit of friction, heat.

Mine does the same thing when I've got the AR frame on it.

its just some thing gas's go.... when they are put under pressure they get hor ( after filling you N2 tank to fast) and when they exit quickly they cool down ( emptying out a co2 tank or any tank for that matter, this is how and air conditioner works) or so i am told

With CO2 there is a BIG additional factor. CO2 is stored in the tank as a liquid. When the pressure drops the liquid boils. This is a MAJOR source of the cooling affect seen with CO2.
