He is looking to have someone make him a Signature Image in the same basic style as mine are. I don’t think anyone should get excited about any potential “financial” gains from this. And if anyone CHARGES him to make the Signature Image I will be very disappointed in them… it would be VERY poor form indeed. I know he stated he would pay for the work, but like I said…. It would be VERY poor form to charge for it. You think any of us have charged a dime yet?

Yes, he has already talked with me about this, and he knows my situation at the moment (he even stated so in his posts).

Wow... All sorts of offers... Well, how to choose.

I guess, I'd tell you what I was looking for-

A "Shartley Style" pic using a Marvel X-Force Character (Cable- guy w/ glowing eye and metal arm) holding a 'Mag.

2 reasons why
A) Cable's big into guns, and is damn near unstopable
B) It's kinda where I stole the Screen-name from. (Got to go WAAAAAY back to find it.)

Any takers? I wouldn't even begin to know where to find some of this stuff, but I'd be happy to help out! :D

LOL I am glad you posed the last comment. I was beginning to wonder if you had lost your mind. LOL :D:D:D

When I opened my doors for requests I was flooded by easily a couple hundred requests. So now I only do one now and again, or for special occasions.

One thing I would like to ask of folks though (well actually two), is that you be gentle with him ;)…. And the other is that when making requests, you may like to limit what you “ask for”. Like he posted, a “style”, what you want it to say, and a “theme” (character, etc.) is usually all the designer really needs. I was getting in all sorts of elaborate instructions like, “I want XYZ Character, holding an XYZ marker. The marker needs to be red with a red and black hopper, black warp feed and it has to have a Freak on it… not the old kind, but the new ones. And I would like the character to be sticking out his tongue, and jumping over a barrel!” ETC.

Trust the Artist’s abilities and creativity. :)

(Syn- I hope you did not mind my mini commentary. I know the mess I went through.)

feel free to send me as detailed instructions as you wish, but be warned that i will probably ignore most of them :p once a basic idea of an image is established (based on the criteria shartley and i posted) most art pieces have a way of creating themselves as they see fit.

if you already know exactly what you want (down to the pixel), i'll be more than happy to point you in the direction of some excellent image editors for you to try your hand with. however, if you have a general idea of what you'ld like, drop me a line and throw some brownies in the oven for payment ;)
