This is my close friend Matt. Since I met him a few years ago, he has both shown interest in the progress of my mag, and shown interest in paintball in general. Until today he had never shot or even held a gun.

Tonight I gave him my nearly completed mag with a handfull of JT Maxiums. We set up a can for a target (we lacked a better object) in his back yard. After some basic instruction, I gave him the gun, turned the safety off, and told him to have at it. Much to my suprise, he made the can dance on the second shot! He didn't stop there, however. He continued to hit the can, over and over again. He handled the gun as though he was an experienced player. The can suffered 7 shots before the hopper was emptied. No pinches, no shortstrokes, just solid mag trigger manipulation.

Needless to say, he fell in love with the gun almost as much as I have (well..who knows, maybe more)

*note* It took me 5 shots until I hit the can. I'm not a bad shot either.

Here is whats left of that can. Notice that a Maxium is stuck in the aluminum.

About 20-25 feet (?). Not too far, but far enough to make it a difficult target.

This kind of reminds of a project that a guy at work is working on. Its a mouth piece that works in place of the trigger solenoid (sp?) for electric frame markers. The idea is to just bite down on it to make the marker fire.
The theory is for people who have limited range of use of their arms and such to still be able to play.

It was a great time. I would love to get him a gun and build some kind of mount for his chair. I would want him to be on my team after tonights performance though!

Love that "Owned" picture....lol

Matt is a cool kid. He is a riot to hang out with, and I think he definitly likes the Z-grip.

I would like to get him out on the field; unfortunately, it would take some work to create some kind of mount that he could easily use.

He now wants to try shooting my tribal!

Not very surprised to see this, but anyone else notice that the only 3 people to start stammering on about the girl in the picture were Relatively new to here? Guys, for future reference, don't hijack a thread like that. Especially one like this.

Thats cool. Our sister team has a member who is also confined to a wheelchair. On a wood field they carry him to a position and get him set up for the game. They're all good people to play with and against.

That's pretty cool. This certainly shows that paintball is a sport for everyone.
