Smart Parts is coming out with a gun that is closed bolt like a shocker but as light and a slim body like an impulse. I dont no much at all about this gun but if you go to www.pbnation.com and go to both the shocker and impulse forum or go to the impulse owners group web site you can get a little more infomation on this new gun that sounds like its going to be a hit.

- its called a mini shocker... I heard it will be out in a few months. Not sure the specs but I think they took 2in off the back and 1/4 in off both sides of the shocker, and yes it will be a hit.

I'm skeptical since I can't find any other information on it at all, but it sounds really cool.

It's cool. It sounds like a great idea, btw. For everyone debating between a cocker and an impulse this definitely would tilt things in smart parts favor...as long as this thing isn't too expensive.

Ya i started a post about this over in PBnation and got a lot of clues. One guy however said that it WILL NOT be a mini shocker, nor will it be called that.

Well the biggest beef is

lots of people love the impulse its cheap fast, pretty light, looks nice, and can be upgraded nicely.

people like the shocker because its closed bolt but hate it cuz its a gas hog and its heavy

now imange a gun that is light, looks nice, can be upgradely nicely, and have a closed bolt design and be gas efficent. it would be the first electro be a gas effiecent closed bolt marker

this rumor is not new, its been goin around since world cup, so dont feel like you dug something new up

its not gunna happen anytime soon, they are just gettin around to producing decent impulses

That should be interesting. I am curious to see how they get enough bolt open time to make it a high speed electro.

You think smart parts considers relevant issues such as open bolt times :) Thier guns work on the principle of low pressure closed bolt fairy dust technology!

No it wouldn't. Have you ever heard of the Excalibur?

Yep we all know what an Excal. is, and the fact that it can't easily cycle past 12-13 bps. That's not just an electronic cap, the gun cannot physically cycle any faster. Hence, the viking is the superior aka gun in terms of rate of fire

the excalibur isnt closed botl its open bolt blowback i thought?
