I had one in my hands this morning and ME LIKES!Their waiting for the new triggers to be ready,in a week or so and then they go to the field testers.I might possibly be one of the testers so if so I'll keep anyone interested updated.

hey RRFireblade can you give us some details?

RRfireblade

Mmmmm, well to start it's Mag and Cocker, that should jerk quite a few chains. It'll come with two trigger blanks just move a pivot pin and swap grips. It has two sets of magnets. One pair attractive and one pair opposing. It's adjustable for trigger rod slop(gasps!)foward AND rearward travel.VERY light pull and super short on the cocker not quite as short on the Mag.As for the Mag though you can kind of sweet spot it between the magnets and it'll rip pretty darn quick.Kind of need to try to understand. It's a 45 style but the proto's not fully milled so I can't speculate on comfort just yet.Got a cool finger recess behind the trigger though for those of us who like to pull single on occasion or just rest your finger there for a better grip while running. For cocker fans it's really quite a short pull almost doesn't seem possible for a mech frame.Oh yeah,it's a mech frame. Hmm, that's about all I got so far.

Jay.

i havn't heard of the new frame before, but maybe this will be a good time for me to get a used frame cheap.

hey you can't go and throw aprilias and ducatis in here, we're dealing honda and yamaha. To me they are in a whole different class. The GSXR 750 has been a force to reckon with for some time. I've heard the R6 is really the only bike that can take it on...:D

I'll have some pics maybe tuesday. They first runs should be ready next week however the trigger blanks for the Mag aren't ready till the week after, lucky cocker fans. They will be offered as a semi beta test for likely $129.00.And for right now only in black anno.

Jay.

P.S.
As far as Jap versus Pizano bikes. If I put another $6000.00 into pretty much any Jap bike(CBR954 $10,000-Ducati998 $16,000+)Well I think enough said.Just for the record, Benelli Baby!

150hp,400lbs.

you can't make a porsche from a civic and $50,000. It ain't gunna happen.

CenterFire

Sell the civic and use that money plus the 50k ... then find yourself a porsche, eh?

FooTemps

i thought this thread was on the new benchmark frames... how did we get to civics and porches? lol

fearc7
08-31-2002, 07:41 PM
good question

RRfireblade
08-31-2002, 11:13 PM
A civic and a Porsche are miles apart,a typical Jap bike in stock trim usually out performs most other imports all ready.(and at about 50% less MSRP.)
EX. RC51,YZFR1,GSXR1000,750 etc.

Jay.

And yes, this is supposed to be about frames.I guess the only connection is if I ride my bike down to Proteam, but I'll use any excuse to talk about bikes. LOL

Coaster

as long as you post the pics sometime of the medusa, i dont' care if you talk about bikes or cars..
