inside the reg, its the thing that causes your marker to leak air out the back if the velocity is too high. i don't see how taking out a failsafe entirely would be a good idea though.

check out the exploded diagram of the Retro valve under airgun.com's tech section.

I too think you stick on end in the barrel (breech side) and then you can place a ball between that peice and the bolt to test if the bolt will bounce or not...

Of course only works on extreme bodies...

yup, after seeing the scale of the piece, i'm gonna have to say that wyn and webby have it right on the nose. i didn't think that there was that much room between the end of the barrel and the part of the breech that the ball falls into though...


why would it have anything to do with the reg.
because, to get their level10's to work, some people have to turn their velocities up so far that air leaks out the back. this would be a very effective (but dangerous) work around

Round1 - cupping a paintball to be hit by the bolt

Round2 - with the ball cought by the edge of the cup and the edge of the bolt... this is the worst case scenario for chopping a ball because it's putting force on a very small area of the ball.

They aren't going to make them for Pro's and classics (as far as I am aware).

They may not even make them for Extreme's... but I think it would be cool if they made some and had them for sale :) for those that really want to show off...

The answer if you want one... is to get an Extreme :D
