These are game timer stickies. For only $30, I might buy some! But are they good and all?

Having looked at them up close, the major problem is the buttons, they are not recessed and are right where your palm is. They will always be getting pushed and broken off.

I talked to my store-owner and they are made out-of-country and brought here and distributed by KAPP or someone. The failure rate on them is 50%, that's right, one half of them fail. So, I wouldn't buy any.

Sure man, I was looking at them too, didn't really think it was worth it, but after hearing that, WOW. They're just like the Dye Xcel stuff, imported, then the name is slapped on.

I've brought a couple of pairs in to sell. Well made. I bought some to put on my own marker and the buttons do sometimes get pushed, stopping the timer or advancing the minutes

The ones I have are from Extreme Rage and on the opposite side have the ER logo in aluminum.

I bought them mainly because the blule matched my powercoat job.

I can believe the pass rate is 50%

Can't you get one of those tiny talking countdown timers from radio shack for like $15? (RadioShack Talking Count Up/Count Down Timer Part Number 630-0877) They work pretty well.

Dye Xcel's are not made by Dye. They are imported from another country, and the Dye logo is put on them.

Any lefties, like me, try those timer grips? Those buttons might be in a good spot for me.

The Dye Core Division is the good stuff, the xcel stuff is the off-brand merchandise.

While I am not certain I can tell you the Chinese have no qualms about faking anything. From Software to Aparel. And they will copy the US flag and sew it on there if need be! Their disrespect for Copy Rights laws of this Country is legendary.

Well...not that i thought you were lying..I've got a pair of Dye Core pants that were made in china..and I'll tell you one thing...the ones with the "MAde in the USA" tags are not made at the Dye Factory in San Diego, I know that for sure.

God, Dye is just like the Nike of paintball. ALl there stuff is made not in USA and stuff. I'll stick with JT or Smart Parts stuff, or anything in the good USA.

I hate to tell a lot of you this but almost nothing is made in the states except barrels and some machine stuff.

Redz stuff is all out of china, Bluez Same thing, Dye China, JT isnt china but Mexico I belive you will find some of thier stuff is now from china I belive. The super cheap spyder clones are all made in china or mexico. Almost all apperal is made out of country, almost anything made is out of country with very few exceptions.

But the Dye Xcel stuff is still the less expensive stuff, not made as well as the Dye Core Division stuff.
