i was looking at the flatline tank and the regulator on it makes it impossible to screw it into a standard asa. with the 88/4500 stubby crossfire work on a mini-mag? with a drop forword?

yes, it will, but, if you buy a drop, most come with a dove tail mount, there fore you could slide the flatline on there, and not need the screw in asa. Also, i reccomend looking into system x tanks. there very nice, i have one and to tell you the truth, i serriously like it over my crossfire

hmm, the best place to buy them, and any thing else you could possibly need for your mag is www.modifiedpaintball.com they have the best prices around, know the mag in and out, and their customer service cannot be beet.

sadly it is a preset, but, if you go e-mag it wont make a diff, unless you go manual

PMS came out with an adjustable screwing NitroDuck tank.

Maybe i misunderstood your post, but you said

makes it impossible to screw it into a standard asa

The flatline is not a screwin tank, it mounts and is connected to the marker with a hose going straight from the flatline reg to the marker.

That might have been what Magman007 said, i couldn't tell.

yeah, if you'll be using the tank on a marker that can take a drop, you don't need to worry about the asa. If you've got the money for an adjustable tank, I'd go for on over a screw-in preset. Heck the 3000 flatline (I'm not sure about the 4500) comes with its own drop that you just screw on in place of your bottom-line asa and the just hook up your hoses and you're good to go.

The 4500 does not come with its own drop, just a dovetail mount.
