Personally I'm looking forward to get my hands on the Powerlyte set. From what I've read it has the longest inserts(around 7"), and has 5 bore sizes. For less than 200. Should be a good compromise between buying five one piece barrels for their effective lenght, and buying any other set with too short first sections.

I'd have to go with the CP or J&J, but personally I don't like barrel kits at all. My 3 barrels get the job done, and they were had for less than $150.

Freak, much more flexible for a guy like me, with nearly as many thread types as markers (5 markers, 4 thread/mounts)

j&j edge kit!!!

If you keep your eyes open, you can sometimes find a killer deal since they arent as well known... I nabbed my mag edge kit (3 bores 1 black tip total length 10") for 77 dollars shipped :-)

gotta love it

I snagged a new Edge kit for $90 and I love it. I'm a bigger fan of solid backs rather than inserts. And I think the Edge kit looks cooler than the CP. I was shooting Evil like darts last weekend.

As always I am the odd man out: Aradus

Aradus? I've liked the sound of it, but I never found anyone that had used one. What do you like about it

Yeah, I've been really curious about the performance of the Aradus barrel. Please tell. :)

I didn't think the aradus came mag threaded. I heard they had real problems with the porting so they changed the porting on them.

I got the edge with 4 backs this past weekend, only I didn't even take it out of the case so I can't tell ya how it fires. It was $150. Sure I might've gotten it cheaper, but I support my local businesses whenever I can. It will be lighter than my J&J 2 piece as well. Now I just need to get some new plastic nubbins. :)

Here's a small bit I found on the edge kit after a quick search. They don't have them on the main J&J site but that has'nt been updated in years. http://www.paintball-discounters.com/cgi-bin/webc.cgi/st_prod.html?p_prodid=1117

i voted for the freak for a couple reasons.

first and foremost if you buy a new back you get a whole other set of barrels for your other guns, the other kits save the equations are not like that. also if you know where to look, you can get a freak back for 50 bucks. also you can get fronts on ebay for around 20-25 if you get those really little ones. i admit the ential investment is high but if you own multiple markers i think its worth it

Although the Freak has the best rep, I like the look of CP barrels so I would have to go with the CP. I haven't soht either of them though...
