my friend wants a really high end gun (his parents buying), but he is so non-technical and doesn't even no how to field strip his a-5. so what would be a really easy low maintence gun 4 him. i was thinking an angel but any suggestions will be appreciated.

either a mag or a procarbine..... both are very low maintance.... i should know... i used and abused both... and right up until i got my retro valve. i hardly ever did more then gas them up and hose 'em off...

A high end cocker? pretty much just put some oil in your asa and air up, dry fire 20 shots without barrel. As for cleaning, take out the pin then slide out bolt and stick a squeegy through the whole thing(including barrel). And it seems like hes not gonna have money problems so he can take his gun to a local shop to get it timed....

Ummmm I think THAT went the wrong way. LOL

Someone comes to AO for advice and ends up advising their friend to buy an Angel? I think some folks have lost track of what AO was about. LOLROF

Want a low maintenance marker that will also be problem free? RT Pro.

And if someone has a problem dropping a few drops of oil in their marker before playing with it, should really think about another sport. Heck, I am surprised they even get dressed in the morning……

if you want maintenance free, get a tippman, you can even store it outside if you like. If you want a minimal maintenance gun, get a mag.

for the people suggesting tippmanns he already has an a-5, and for u mag lovers like myself his bro is getting an extreme:) (i also think he wants a dif gun than his bro)

Id take my Mini over my M98 anytime. If you chop in a M98 it is MUCH harder to clean out than a mag. Id say go with the RT Pro.

You dont need to oil a mag before you play...Just occasionally(every case, maybe more) drop a few drops of oil in the ASA.

I'd suggest an angel, they are easy to take care, just wipe them off, and put a little oil threw it, very reliable

or
from what I've seen mags are pretty reliable

or
yes I think a high end cocker would also be a good option, when I had mine all I did was wipe it off, oil it and run a sqeegee threw the top tube, never had any problems, I mean they aren't as easy as the angel or mag, but they aren't that bad at all. You'll be fine as long as you don't mess with anything, but that's the case with anything.
