Hi, I was loading up my old computer and had a problem. It's a AOpen 350 MHZ. w/ Windows 98, 3D Blaster Banshee Graphics Card, Sound Blaster Sound Card and other things ask me if they are important. The problem is, when it's booting up, it hits the little blinking line on a black screen, but when it's supposed to open up to the Windows backround image and a login screen the monitor automatically clicks off into a suspend mode. We believe that it's a graphics card issue because this has happened before, but we are not sure. The monitor works fine when hooked up to my laptop but not with this computer. If you have any help you can lend me I would greatly appreciate it as this is my school computer and I need it to work soon! Thanks alot guys.

Edit: The monitor is a ViewSonic, not sure of the model but if it's important let me know and I will get it.

Did you know that wes is having the same exact problem?
Try loading it up in safe mode and turning the refresh rate down.

How do you load it up in safe mode and change the refresh rate?
