Anyone going to Shatnerball worried about this? My mom is giving me *** and so is the GF. I'm personally not worried, I'll bring some off or something but still..

No need for her or anyone to panic this is a problem only for the real elderly or infirmed and Immulogicaly challenged. Even if you were to contract an active infection it is like a flu and your chances of complications are pretty much nil. Besides it's pretty much everywhere. Just because a few states have not discoved it yet does not mean they do not have it. I bet they all do. Our State only recently confirmed it even though we have beed surrounded by it for several years.

If you were to catch it, you wouldn't even know.

We have it bad up here but nobody really even seems to care.

its not as big of a deal as they make it out to be, only 4 people have died and they were all elderly, only 30 some cases have been reported

small children and the elderly are the biggest at risk, so you should be fine

when you said its everywhere, no its not... i guess that chickens apparently make antibodies to the virus and don't get affected by it and chickens i guess are like a big ballon of tasty blood to a hell fly ... i mean Mosquito. So if they find anti bodies in the chicken then they know if its spread throughout the US. But we can't stop it yet so... whadyagonnado?
