Ok I need a new nitro tank and I'm not exactly sure which one to get. I would like to get a good screw in and use a KAPP Micro Apoc. d/f and On/off adapter. I would like to get a 68/4.5k if not 68/3k. All reasonings would be helpful. Thanks

I personally like crossfire.

I'd avoid the 68/4500 crossfire if I were you....I purchased one early this year and the regulator was faulty. Upon receiving a replacement, the psi would drop about 1000 or more after having it filled; needless to say I was a bit ticked off. I'd get a PMI 68/4500 if I were you, they're reliable and good screw-in tanks. It really depends on what kind of field you play on...if you play on a "real", proffesional field, I'd recommend a 45/3000 since you would be able to refill it after every game. However, I play in the woods, so a 68/4500 or my current tank, an 88/4500 is more suitable since there's nowhere close by to refill it. For some reason 68/4500 crossfires are faulty...at least the regulators.

here are my 2 cents on the subject. I own a CrossFire and NitroDuck. Both 68CI, both 3kPSI. I love the Nitro Duck, mainly cause it's a bit lighter, it's stronger, and it cost me less!!

Now, go figure.. I pay less but get more. You should have thrown NitroDuck up on your poll.

It's the best you can get for your money! Get the tough skin tank... I love it. I have never had a problem with it, and I can't say the same about my over priced crossfire.

I have the last post there, for now. Best tanks ever. Look there, any more questions, I'll be happy to answer. Oh, and they replaced the reg tip with the high-flow reg. I am very satisfied with their customer service, and am willing to take time to answer any questions you may have. So drop me a line, and we'll chat. AIM=Autocockergunner

This is TRIAD actually, was on my bro's name, the post in that link is under TRIAD, but my AIM is autocockergunner.

Magman, the new high-pressure 4.5k crossfire's are very good. They've improved over their previous tanks.

High-pressure = assuming this is for a mag...

I've got the 88/45 crossfire preset 800 on my matrix. And even with that gas hog I don't get any shootdown, if that helps ya any.

I have a 68/3k Smart Parts Max-Flo, and I'm crazy about it. First of all, I like the look of the reg(the stacked design is pretty cool). I also like having an adjustable tank for maximum effeciency. The Max-Flo is very constant, with +/- 10. I've heard some bad things about the spring or something in the new style, but I'm very happy with my old style Max-Flo. They're more pricey htan presets ($350 new), but can be had for much less used(I bought mine on eBay for $125).

Umm may i recommend getting eather a 45k preset PMI Pure energy. Had one when i happened to use presets (i use angel air now and its by far the best tank there is +/- 3 all the time everyday)

But a buddy of mine has a AA raptor 45kpsi Adjustable and it works great. And you can pickup one for about the price of a 68 45k preset.
