I have to like beat the insert to get it into my SS back, im afraid if i stick it all the way down i will never get it back out.

Anyone else have problems with this? Or any tips on what to do....i don't really want to scratch up the insert real bad.

maybe try oiling the 0-rings inside your freak back? its supposed to be snug, but not difficult to get in

could put some lube on the outside of the insert i supposed but there shouldnt be a ton of friction:confused:

First thing to do is wash any grit off the inserts and the back, Then lightly oil the outsides of the inserts, They will slip in easy then.

Well I don't believe that there are any orings in there...but more the reason Oil solves this.

Get a qtip, put a little vasalineon it, and then get alittle vasaline on the oring in the freak back. WOrked likea charm, and will stay in place better than the oil.

I have a big tube of Dow 33 from my timmy that I use to grease my freak inserts.

Works like a charm.

Vaseline eats o-rings, so probably not a good idea.

Well, if the oring actually DID anything, I might be worried - but considering it just sits tehre in the barrel back.. <shrug>
