When looking at barrels I noticed that the A-5 is now classed with the pro carbine and other things.

To me this is great becauase there arent many barrels for the carbine and the A-5 will eventually have lots of barrels threaded for it.

But im concerned about about something though. The barrel may fit by threads, but pro carbine barrels have a little ridge in the begining of it so the bolt can go inside the barrel. Do A-5 barrels have this ridge??

lol do all barrels have that ridge?? If they do im going to feel really stupid... and you're allowed to laugh at me.

I would think that if it didn't work with a pro/carb they wouldn't be advretising it as so...

hey pyro...

but thats the thing, some websites have barrels classed as A-5/carbine/lite but some websites dont have a carbine at all and just A-5, or just carbine and no A-5. Its definatly possible they could be messing it up like that.

Pro/Carbines use Prolite threads, which is what the A5 uses. As does the F4 Illustrator. So any barrel with Prolite threads will fit a Prolite, Pro/Carbine, A5, and F4.
