A rotating bolt, it stays closed bolt right, but it's cut at a 45 ° angle right so it rotates and the bool drops in, and it keeps rotating so it's closed bolt, make sense

ne ways has it ever been thought of, id love to see some specs if it's been done

Sounds kinda like an auto-loading shotgun.

Round fires, and the bolt ratates and pushes back from the recoil... as the main spring pushes the bolt back up, it catches the next round, twist and locks the shell to the bolt and chambers the round.

I imagine it wouldnt be that hard to do something similar with a paint gun... squeezing a trigger and blasting air into one off-side corner of the bolt system, which just kicks it over a bit to load... hmmmmmm...

been thought of.

problem is that the bolt would have to stop at the high and low logn enough to allow for a ball to feed. You cannot simply spin the bolt around and think that when it clears the feed neck a ball will fall in. the ball needs a full .8" or so to fit through, and if hte chamber is rotating, the ball only has a fraction of a second when it can load.

it would be possible oif some ort of cam system and a ram was utilized to do the effective as on a cocker, but instead of opening and closing, it revolves.
