Well I asked my little brother to hold my BRAND NEW 4500 tank, Well he dropped it and the regulator snapped off, dont ask how but it did. So I have to get a new one. What would be the best kind to get?

Umm..wow.

1st things first - Are your tank threads ruined? I cant imagine this happening. Post pics please :).

That said, I'd suggest a Air america raptor Rex. They are running a special on them now at airamerica.com where you send in your tank and they toss a raptor rex (4500 adjustable), on for 99 + shipping back I think. Only downside is that theres no on/off on the rex, but you could solve that with a slide check or pro connect

PICS!

Well I threw out half of the reg but I still got the top part where the threads are. Ill try and get some pics.

Yes its a 4500 crossfire. But their is no reg on it, its just a tank, but if I sold it I would have no tank.

4500 doesnt tell me the size of the tank:)

but for a reg its gonna cost you anywhere from 70-120 bucks to replace the reg, crossfire regs are around 80 or 90 plus shipping it to them to get it up in place, i imagine you would have an easier time buying a new one:)

just a thought, if its a 68 i'd buy it from you to save you the trouble of spending all that money just for a reg

Talk to Crossfire, send them an email or call. I ruined my reg by dropping it on cement, bent the top o-ring lip. I sent it to them and they replaced it free of charge. All I had to do was pay to ship it to them, they handled the rest. So drop them a line and you may have your problems solved.
