Tom's name ISN'T Tom Kaye??? What gives with the fake name? Btw is that his house address on the patent also? Cuz that's not the stores address haha. I wonder if this thread will get canned before any more people see his personal info.

I already knew that... Actually, a lot of AO members know that. It's just that Tom Kaye is easier to remember and spell... lol

its greek

I learned this at the 2001 Iao, it was a diablo trivia question. Kaye derives from his mother, she was a school teacher and the kids trying to pronounce Kostiopolous was atrocious, so she used Mrs. K. Tom uses Kaye because it is easier for the industry

I doubt it would be canned as its public domain but conceiling personal info would be a nice thing to do.

And there are some from way back however it's rare to find it spelled correctly! Other than on the patent papers.

So, the next time your friends are complaining and saying "The Greeks? They may have given us Aristotle and Plato and Homer, but what did they do for paintball?"

Tell em they gave us Tom Kaye.

Hahaha. Yeah I think it's a great idea, it's easier to REMEMBER not only spell which IMO is something needed.
