i need to remove the ss hoses i have and there loc tited on. im not sure what kind it is but its a redish color, so whats the best way to get this off?

apply heat... best bet would be with a lighter....

you'll only need to do that for a min then use 2 wrenchs to grab both pieces and you should be set

alright, when i go to reattach stuff would teflon tape be alright if its for the macroline fittings, or would it be to weak?

Teflon tape works fine with macro line fittings.

Edit: I think that red loctite is thread locker, not a sealer, so your better off with teflon tape anyway.

hes right. red is to hold threads. i think blue seals but i'm not sure.

blue seals and you can break it by hand or with a wrench easy. Its better than teflon, if a chunk of teflon gets in your valve, well its alota fine clean up

Hold it a sec. You are removing macroline fittings with heat. Would someone like to tell me what is in those fittings?.....
O-rings, which don't respond to well to heat. Try to remove them before doing anything.

Ok, sorry i got the impression that it was macro. Just heat it up with a lighter, and turn while hot. You may see it start to smoke after heating for a while, that means its broken. Sometimes you get some smoke, sometimes youdont.
