i am looking at getting one of the zgrips but have been told that they work on rt mags only. are there different types of zgrips for normal mags and rt mags or do they work on both

They MADE (Keyword) One version for the standard 'mag and one for the RT (As opposed to the RT Pro) If you wanna know the difference between RT's and RT Pro's (If you dont know already, that is) hit me on the S.E.A. ;)

The rt-z-grips have a spacer, which should be included if you buy a used grip. If not, you can probably get one thorough AGD. All you have to do, is put this spacer in the hole for the field strip screw, and an rt-z-grip will go on any other (non-electric) mag. The regular z-grip will only fit the automag, and minimag.

doesnt the rt's foregrip get in the way of the stadard z-grip also?

On early model RT's that was a problem. AGD came out with a front mount that had a groove cut in it to allow the grip enough room.
