How can you have a level 7 mag with the serial 00801?

I worked on an automag with the serial in the 3,000's and the PT came off telling me that it was lower than a level 7.

Unless the retro is 00801? Never thought of that.

But then it would not be level 7. It would be retro.

Where is the game in NY? I might be up that way and might go...

If you send in the gun and pay their $45 fee they will update the valve for you. My gun was one of the first thousand made after Tom sponsored Team Swarm. There are no stars as they were not even thought of back then. They also offered "engraving" of the tube back then.

Survival NY is in Newburgh, NY.

Steven,

You may be able to answer me this im about to buy an old automag i belive its a 96 model. Its definatly a series 7 from what he's told me. How does this compare age wise to your gun and also is the valve the only thing i need to update to get the gun to the current standards?

Thanks
