Look in my signature (link). And I run it anywhere from 850-1000 psi depending on my mood. Usually it is around 900-950.

thanks for the posts guys, and ill try and get pics up soon. i apologize if i wasnt too clear but i meant more along the lines of getting the tank filled first and then mounting everything on or vice versa or what. peace

ps, sicones, is that a shocktech stubby or long d/f? i ended up getting the stubby.

I got mine mounted FIRST, and then filled. After all, you will not have to take it off to get it filled anyway. ;)

Oh… Yes, I forgot, I too have a Quick Disconnect (Ref: Hitech's post following mine). But just for the SS hose from the tank. I never take the tank off my marker to fill it. After all, I like the responses from the pro shops when they see the whole setup... ;)

I personally think the NW Quick Disconnects are the best way to mount a Flatline tank. They allow you to VERY easily remove the tank. Here is a picture of one in use:

I made the tank cover. Just took the patch and sewed it on a black tank cover. I have used white teflon tape for over 15 years with NO problems. I have it on all the fittings and guages of my flatline. BTW, I asked Tom what to use. :D

Heat- That would be Feb. 2002. Apparently the site is in need of an update.

I set my 68/4500 flatline up on a medium shocktech drop. A 10" length of steel braided fits perfectly between the cradle and the valve. I put a pro-team filter between the cradle and the hose to keep it from rubbing on my foregrip. Works great.

Actually Sicones' was blue as well (as he already posted here in this thread):
http://members.aol.com/sicones/minimag2.jpg

and so is mine:

And if you look on the AGD Store you will see this:
http://store.airgun.com/agdprod/images/4500__med.jpg

That is what color they come. ;)

No. The reg on Sicone's and Shartley's gun are the Pewter 4.5K regs. The blue one on Paintballer86's and in the online store were prototype 4.5K FL's and only about 50 were done in that color.

Those were the first prototype batch that was done in the blue. Later they were all done pewter. I see one there that is all pewter including that dimpled nose cone thing. I just got one that is pewter and that nose cone is darker grey.

added on edit...a little too slow! :)

“No. The ones on X’s and Y’s are Mint. The one on W’s and the online store are GREEN and were prototypes and only done in a limited number.”

Sorry couldn’t resist. :D Pewter or Blue they look darn close to me… just a shade difference. I stand corrected however. I hope you all can forgive me. I am after all allowed one mistake every couple years. ;)

Thanks for clarifying that Black. :D (And now Phil while I was typing.. LOL And it seems that they are now even coming different too?) I should have known better since thinking back now, I DID know there was a difference. Teaches me for typing on the fly….

They look nowhere near the same color. Perhaps you should adjust your monitor or double check to see if your eyes are working right. ;)

HeeHee… I NEVER trust what someone ELSE posts online. My monitor is fine. ;)

OK lets confuse the matter some more! Mine is black! All of the regulator is. Now this picture is a bit fuzzy but you can see the SS on the front reg adjustment nut and lock nut and then the SS band of the Dove tail adapter around it...but in front and in back of those you can see that this whole Reg is black. So we know there was a batch of them in Blue...then Pewter (there is a pict of that one here too) and now Black. This one is from the batch that has just shipped. Got it last week

And yes its a 4500 Flatline in case you cannot tell...

See if this one shows it any better...
