halo a or b?

how can i tell if its a halo a or b? i am buying a micromag with one but i dont know which one? also, whats the difference? hogans alley near me offers to convert a halo a to a halo b for 35 bucks. worth it?

well you can tell by its sound, err how fast it turns on and off, but i am guessing it is an A. you can send it to odyssey for $30 which includes shipping, and $50 for upgrade and color shell

The A is gear driven, the B is belt driven.

so a is like a revy/rico and b is belt driven (and disgustingly nice)? also, do u guys think it is worth it to upgrade?
