Last weekend my Revy started freaking out.
If I left it on for 20-30 minutes or so, all of a sudden the Revy would start spinning, even if there were balls in the feed tube.
I took it apart and found that there was some paint inside the housing. I figured that the paint could have been shorting out the circuitry, so I cleaned it all up and put it back together. That didn't help and I was still having the same problem.
I figured that the board was toasted and decided it was a good time to upgrade to an x-board. I picked up a new x-board and put it in the Revy, but to no avail: same problem.
So now I'm down to really the last two parts: the motor assembly and the IR sensor assembly. I'd rather not have to buy both parts if only one is bad.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so, which part proved to be defective? Any help would be greatly appreciated...
