Are the cassic mag valves more complicated than the retro? is there more going on in the air valve because the regulator is more complicated? Whats up with that???? could some one please explain?

they dont cost more...a retro is 300, a whole new classic mag is 300.

yes, that is true, but look at other sites, if you try to by another classic valve, you will be paying more than a retro, plus retros are 270. Classic valves are pricey

if you just buy a classic valve only it's way over 300$
(i can't get 888paintball to load but i know its over 300)

Probably because no one buys them and its a pain in the buttocks for AGD to supply, and big stores to stock (if they even had it...its the type of thing they'd probably order every time

Probably because its not a upgrade, but a replacement stock part.

- Its more that just a part though. I never though about it before, but its almost the entire marker. More like the heart of the marker I guess. I've never seem it for that much though. I would just buy a retro or entire new mag for $300.

- WOW I've been a member of this forum for a year and 5 months and his is only my 25th post. Talk about a ghost surfer huh =). I think I had to reregister one time cause the server hick-uped or something like that, so it might be closer to 2 years. Who knows.....

also dont forget AGD is tryin to get rid of classic valves so instead of you spending 349$ on a classic you can use the same 300$ and get a retro...

He is right, the Classic Automag Valve Assembly is $349.88 at 888paintball:

However, I'm sure that must be really OLD pricing as they also sell an entire automag (powerfeed) for $239.88:

The ANS Valve will give you NO perfomance increase. Its all hype. Dont waste your money.

hmm.. maybe that the aluminum in the retro valves allows it to cost a little less. The combination of more aluminum in the earth, and it being easier to machine may have something to do with it.
