Hey everyone,

I need a big welcome for a long time net friend of mine 'Rambopreacher'.

Brent has been a paintball net guy for a long time and may be known to some here as the guy that gave away a gold plated Palmer gun. (In fact over the years he has given away a lot of markers!... even did a huge competition on warpig to give them away)

He's new/returned to mag's (being a huge and very famous Palmer fan)... in fact he doesn't have one at the moment (but apparently did 10 years ago or so!). For years he'd been trying to get a black chrome or black nickel gun (Tom will need to tell us which process it actually was), and was trying to get Palmer's to make him one without success.

Well on my last visit to AGD I found such a body in the attic which Tom was never happy to sell because the finish is not durable to AGD's usual standard, but he kindly let me have it and when I got back I gave it to RP, knowing his desire for such a gun.

I know Brent is going to do the body justice and can't wait to see what sort of a gun he builds around it. I'm certain it will be special.

Anyway I also think he will be a great person to get involved in the mag world and our community here. So please welcome him in.

I've been looking for a finish like this too!
I have something similar on a Zippo I own called "Midnight Chrome"

I haven't been able to find anything like it, even from powdercoaters!

I don't know if you're the same RamboPreacher that had an Article in APG a few years back (read late 80's/early 90's) or not, but welcome to AO either way. I really hoe you enjoy your stay.

yeah yeah, i seem to remember an APG article by a rambo preacher. can't remember the article, but i remember him using double mini mags i think.

first, thanks for the hearty welcome.

Yea, that's be me, I have been writing articles, and taking pics for APG/Paintball on and off for years. As far as I know, I am the only RamboPreacher. :)

sorry, I couldn't post sooner, I registerd while I was at work, adn had put my normal home email address in, not expecting that I was going to receive an email to activate my account. I came home for lunch so I could. :D

just wanted to say thanks, when i first started out, i read your site front to back and it helped familiarize me with the sport, just reading the stories of how other people acted on the field helped me to find my place in paintball, i have always admired your choice in guns and the charity that you have done with many of them. cool to have you hear dude.

I would also like to point out (not sure if anybody else mentioned this in the thread) Rambopreacher is a highly reputable user over pbreview.com, primarily in the Religion/Philosophy forum. He has proved himself to really be among the upper crust of people-welcome!:D
