Has this been decided yet. I've seen nothing, but some of them must have shipped by now. Right?

I bought my XMAG at the IAO and I talked to the Tech phone line Monday and they didn't know if it had been decided yet.

2 months , august 8 to october 8.

Did you "buy" one? Did they tell you that once they chose they would ship it to you or are they just not selling the marker with a barrel?

Well in pics and such. Ive seen the PMI Perfect barrels being with the extremes. If not who cares, go get a freak kit. :)

None Chosen, None Shipped, you will get a coupon for one (at least the first ones did)... Nuff said.

We had one issue with a Extreme where a Freak back would bottom out without holding the insert in tight and that caused firing issues. We may see that with some other barrels as there is no thread depth standard on the Cocker barrels.

Last I heard they had decided and are just waiting to receive them. Supposedly someone is custom making them (non-big name supplier).

i think AGD is still right in going with the cheapo barrel on a high end gun. because, really, of the Emags ive seen here(and any gun voer $500 for tha tmatter) the stock barrel is nowhere around. they just lay in someones gear sack or even worse, at home in some closet

I have to disagree on one side, Fades look much better with a match annoed barrel. which is why I want a match annoed freak with my extreme.

fades do, however, theres no way they can get ONE barel on every mag that EVERYONE is going to like. sides, with paint to barrel matches...most of the time ONE barrel ONE person wont like

Also that's why they went to cocker threading so people could have more of a choice and pay 10 dollar less. Even though I like the twist lock. :) But threading it's not that bad. I just like being able to change barrels quick. But my own thought.
