I was reading on another post and I was wondering,

If you had a palmer stabilizer, could you just have that and c02 and have a setup that works well?

Hi,

Stabilizers are awesome when it comes to CO2 control. Glenn is a big time CO2 fan. I have run a Vertical Male Stabilizer with a 20 oz Anti Siphon tank with no problems. A friend of mine also runs a stabilizer and gets nothing but consistant chrono speeds on the with his mag.

Hi,

yeah Bob I have upped your status to a friend. You should be so lucky. Usually I just consider you a peasant. :)

Tecno: Scrap the X chamber waste of money. Just go with an Anti Siphon and Stabilizer. That should work fine.

BTW, Where are you located? I might be able to help you. Reference would be Freshman Bob he is a good friend and teammate of mine.

Alan

........while i posted the other stab thread, i also read this one. and i surfed on over to your site. i'm curious if the nickel stabs you have are the matte or shiney ones.........i REALLY want the matte one (so it matches my phantom). granted the shiney would work better with my mag. but as i stated in my that other post.....HPA is coming for the mag. stab on the phantom is the main concern, mag, secondary (maybe)

but anyways, does me owning a jaguar qualify me for the BEOG? this is my second one, and i've also had a cobra.

cheers

how exactly does the sideline stabilizer work? what connects to what? see, right now i have a bob long x chamber, and i run a bottom line.

i really like the x-chamber so i dont want to get rid of it. ( i like the way it looks and the grip ). but, i would also like a stabilizer since i'm running co2. so, keeping that in mind, would any of those stabilizers work for me?

oh, and when u have an anti siphon tank, the tank must be horizontal correct?

I answered your stab questions in your own thread :)

how do you want your tank to be?

Often a slight angle down at the butt is best. But you need to make sure the anti syphon is set up for that particular bottom line so that it bends up slightly in the tank (should do this anyway if doing the best antisyphon installations).

Back in the old days we made varying antisyphon tubes for all tank arrangements including vert (so that when you tilted the gun on it's side it had less chance to draw liquid) and remote.

Yes, I beilieve, from what I've heard, that it has to be horizontal. The whole idea of the anti-syphon tank was that a tube would just barely touch the top wall of your tank, keeping the liquid on the bottom, so if you where to turn it verticle, all the liquid would pile up in the tank and probably get into the gun.
Didn't it say in the manuel not to use an anti-syphon? I don't know maybe I'm wrong, but I think that's what I read.

You're probably thinking of a siphon tank (designed to suck liquid) which, of course, would be very bad. An anti-siphon is recommended.

And manike, do they still make varriable ant-siphons? All the ones I've seen are the fixed type. I'm assuming that the varrialbe type would have some sort of swivle and counterweight to keep the tip pointed upwards?

Okay, now who else actually remembers when "constant air" was a new term? For all of you young'uns, it doesn't mean HPA. Wow, custom antisyphon, that takes me back.

Who's they? ;)

We used to make em all ourselves, or modify bought ones. Little brass tubes bent to pick up from wherever would be a safe gaseous location in the tank.

They were all fixed, never seen or head of a swivelling one before.

Marchborne, I remember when CA was coming in, and when semi's were the new thing but sooo unreliable :) People were still playing tournies with splatmasters :)

Sime:
here is a pic of my RM that has the stab on it. you would be buying the same one:
http://www.samuraiforce.net/images/rainmaker.jpg

its not as bad as chome, but it still pretty "bright"

as for the jaguar, id LOVE to see some pics of that. the BEOG forum even has a sub forum for "Old Markers" (which th Jag fits into). www.beog.org is the BEOG site.

and those prices ill sell things to anyone here too. I reach out to BEOG and here too. i may start carrying Mag parts on a separate page if i see the demand rising enough. all those prices are just above my wholesale costs so i can get things shipped to me and then take $1-2 per item sold....

well you see kevin, i'd prefer this one<img src="http://www.palmer-pursuit.com/images/Stab/stabilizer-male-nickel-dust_small.jpg"> unfortunatly, i think you've got <img src="http://www.palmer-pursuit.com/images/Stab/stabilizer-male-nickel_small.jpg">

(pictures taken from palmer's site; just to get that legal type stuff out of the way........just in case)

as for my jag.....i told my local shop that i wanted one for old time's sake (though i still wanted a cobra again, but the jag is close enough i guess). a week later i got a call......$50(cnd) "sold!!". she needed a couple of o-rings, and a lot of oil (as all jags do); but beyond that, she was good to go. inaccurate and loud as i remember! BANG! the sight is long gone (it came with it) i gave it to a buddy (sights on paintguns are a joke in my mind)

<img src="http://gallery.consumerreview.com/webcrossing/images/smalljag.jpg">

anyways, to get back to the original post, if you can get a "nickle dust" stab, i'm on that like white on rice, i'll shoot you an e-mail this weekend about it.

cheers

Hey Kevmaster,

I have a stock RM double trigger. Your RM looks sooo scaled down and much lighter. Could you tell me how you got it that way?? I mean, all the mods you made...how you made them...where you got the parts...you know...the whole nine Yards...Taking the stock Reg off the back of the RM looks complicated......I know its alot to ask, but I'd really appreciate the help, as the RM is my main backup gun to my MicroMag, and I want it to be the best it can...thanks in advance. Sweeeet RM !
