You can call WGP, it's not just the SN that matters. They also need to know what the velocity adjuster looks like, whether the body is rounded, and whatnot.

Its probably about a 96 cocker.

Those can have thier internals drilled out for better flow - but other than being bit heavy, the perform just like the 97 and later cockers.

The pneumatics should work for any pre 2000 cocker - which is when they started to use that huge as front black screw.

A knowledgable airsmith can tell you what needs to be done to tweak the performance...

ok here ya go, i am thinking of just buying a new raw, center feed body 2002 body. I dont know what to do.
I have a Micromag and an angel led. This was the first marker I ever bought and it performed well, there just isnt any one i trust working on it near me.

thats what im trying to find out!! lol

I bought it new in mid 1996, so Im not sure if its considered 95' or 96' or what?
It ran great back then, now just collects dust. If anyone is interested I mite trade and throw in some cash for a impulse. but that can be discussed in the for sale forum.
thanks for help figuring this out

that looks like it performs pretty good but looks ugly as sin! id say if you bought it in 96 then its eitehr a 96 or 7 because they tend to release the new year cockers a couple months before and sell old stock a couple months after the new year

actually. If i were you the amount of money its gonna cost you to make that think worth using. I say sell it on ebay for about 300 cash.

and just start from ground up eather using a custom body or a stock 2k2 v/f body.

New Pneumatics, internals ESPECIALLY, etc etc etc.

its a 96

things to tell you are

1. the frames turned to carbon fiber in 97
2. 95's didnt have a stock ball detent
3. the back block was cut as of 97 on

enjoy, if you upgade to a new body (88 or 2k+) epect to buy the following as well

new valve
new front block
new front block screw
new hammer+velocity adjustment
new back block due to the new hammer kit

definitley want new internals, 2k+ cockers have the revised internals that are real nice.

But i say you keep the gun stock dont touch it and get another cocker. Or sell the historic artifact :D

and buy a new cocker.

why doesnt he keep it as is? goint through all the trouble and such, you could buy a new stock cocker and pimp that out, then have an awesome relic, and a new cocker. Its all up to you tho!

I'd go with what magman007 said if you want to keep the 'cocker. There's no point in "upgrading" that one when you'll have to replace every part. So, keep it, it's pretty shpiffy. you couldn't get a whole lot out of it, I sold my '97 'cocker with a sp 14 inch stainless back AA, angel mini reg, TKO drop, cut benchy frame, jackhammer, etc. for only 200. It took FOREVER to sell it, so don't expect much. It'd be a SAWEET thing to keep though, a piece of pball history.;)

Or, keep it and get a 'mag. That's my opinion.
