Guys is this right. It came to 1088.05 in europe dollars and final price for usa dollars is 1,074.23.

This is for a blue xtreme. People said it cost more but it doesn't seem to be.....

Is the euro's? Cant be british pounds ... the conversion is much greater then that ...

Exactly what I was thinking, Euro's are APPROXIMATELY 1 euro to 1 USD British pounds are also approximately 1 GBP to 1.5 USD

The Extreme (black) costs 788.04 British Pounds + 137.91 British Pounds VAT
Totalling 925.95

which is US$ 1446.33 as of today.

yes, you all forget the 17% VAT charge........ there fore it is a lot higher.... plus there is shipping

International shipping for an Extreme is 29.00 British Pounds + 5.08 British Pounds VAT

And by the way, VAT is 17.5%

The eur dollar is lower then us dollars, yes it was a cnc.

There is NO such thing as a Euro dollar. We do not have dollars over in Europe.

We have Euro's. And local currencies, such as the pound £.

Thats what i meant. And also since we live in US we don't have to pay the VAT.

yes, you do have to pay the VAT sorry dude, but it isnt cheep to get one from europe

But if you order something from another coutry you don;t pay the vat. Only people from europe have to pay that vat. Thats how it works.... darn

Good luck in trying to convince the Brits in not paying VAT :rolleyes:

And look at the field on the invoice that says US$ VAT total...
You might be able to get the VAT money back at customs but then you probably still have to pay an import tax (customs, whatever) if you take it to the US.

And it's definitely not possible to get the Extreme tax free for US forces personnel stationed in Germany (my buddy tried that). And these guys get literally everything tax free. But the Brits will only accept British VAT forms which are pretty damn next to impossible to get if you're not stationed in Great Britain.

And as I stated, AGDE will not ship to the states...

And no, they are not part of the European currency system. They kept their Pound Sterling.

And looking at how good the Pound is currently doing, they are probably better off that way. ;)

The UK has kept the Euro, the Republic of Oreland is converting to the Euro.

Great quote on the problem with the Euro...

The UK has kept the POUND £, (he says riflig through his wallet... ;) ) and I think you mean the Republic or Ireland who have in fact already converted to the Euro.

From what I understand the VAT can be gotten back by paperwork that has to be filled out in the USA.

Sorry ICOM. Since the Extreme has not officially been legalized in Germany yet there is a remote possibility that it could be confiscated upon entering the country.

Since stuff that is sent within the European Union usually does not go through customs it's <b>very</b> unlikely, but ist <b>still</b> possible.

So no, I won't order it for you. If it weren't for that risk I would do it.
