I picked up a vert feed body off E-bay and I'm wondering how a regular mag barrel is going to fit.

it wont fit. But you can have that one modified to fit.

modify the barrel or the body?

what if (maybe) I drilled a hole in the body according to where the hole in the mag barrels needs to fit up with the feed tube. Then just took the barrel pin assemble out of the body rail and put it in the hole drilled in the body, using somthing to hold it in place?

what does the barrel modification entail, and what is needed to do it? Or who can do it for me?

thanks Tunaman,

The twist lock assembly is larger than it looks and wouldn't stick out the side of the mag body very well. Plus it sits in the rail not in the body.

You can put a dimple in an existing barrel slot so that the twist lock assembly holds the barrel stationary in the vertical position. This is how the barrel lock works anyway.

Couldnt you just buy a barrel adapter to say an autococker and just use cocker barrels on your vert feed mag?
