couldn't vote. you left out a PPS barrel. :) (though a lapco might come in second from what is listed.)

The autospirit will fit most paints out there an it's not too loud either.

Teardrop....I have heard they are nice.

the Autospirit is the same as the Bigshot except its a .686 bore and the BS is a .689

FreshmanBob

so really it's not the same..
*scratches head* ;)

Most paints roll through the bigshot too

iv had a progressive, tear drop and J&J. J&J is by far the best in my opninion.

what im saying is that the difference bw the two doesnt merit a seperate catogory in this situation. the difference bw the teardrop adn the autospirit/bigshot is large, while the autospirit and bigshot is small

Well, my personal vote would be for a cp one piece... But since it isnt up there, i have also had great experiences with the jj ceramic

Guys, let's be realistic, it's a barrel. Go for paint-to-barrel, and pretty much you're golden.

just so you know:

the bigshot and autospirit are the same barrel BUT!

are different bore sizes: BIGSHOT - .689
AUTOSPIRIT - .686

so you eather 1. get both cause cheap price
2. get 1 of the bore size for the paint you mostly shoot

or 3. Just get a freak and fix all the problems

i like the j&j and the tear drop. But i also had an armson stealth on my classic and i have to admit that was a good barrel. On my mini i have a aci zero gravity and a lapco autospirit. I like the aci more out of the two.As for this poll i chose the j&j

well first off you shouldnt bring back old posts.

second the bigshot is a barrel which comes in different sizes. many are 689 but there are a few that are bigger. i am a person who has a bigger one.

I believe the JJ ceramic is the way to go, it is dependable, accurate, and in my opinion PRETTY! If you wanna drop a little extra cash go w/ a CP 1 piece.

How about all of em? In my barrel bag right now there's a J&J, Autospirit, BigShot, Older All-American and the stock barrel.

Since these barrels range about $50 or so new, you can usually get em for $20-$30 used. But if you don't do that, and you can only get one, I'd say either Autospirit or J&J.

I find it interesting that the J&J ceramic is ahead with more votes than either lapco barrel. The lapcos are MUCH nicer barrels for the money. I've owned both J&J ceramic and autospirit/big shot. I voted for autospirit because paint these days seems to be on the small side. I pretty much use my lapco autospirit exclusively, although I still have a big shot for larger paint.

Not true, I had to get rid of my autospirits- they were too small bore to accept the LX bolt! Go with the bigshot or SP barrels.

Another quality product you might look into are Titanium Paintball's barrels, or their Longbow system. Good stuff!

You could have sanded your LX bolt ever so slightly on the nose...That's what I did and it works great! Sanding the bolt's nose was suggested to me in the LX problems thread.

hmm... is it possible to have bore size SMALLER than .689 than?? cuz my SS bigshot is a perfect fit with marbs... MARBELZERS!! which are considered small bore, correct?

The Marbs with the Advantage shell seem to be larger than Marbs from a few years ago. Marbs fit my BigShots perfectly and PMI Premiums fit my AutoSpirit. A couple years ago, Premiums fit my BigShot.
