anybody know anything about this event? when, how much, so on and so forth? i must go to this, it will be my last hurrah before i leave for the navy.

It's Feb 19-23 at the Alario Center. I don't know how much to play but it's free to go and watch.

yeah im triing to get a group of guys togather, i think i have a team, but we will see what happens when the time comes, im going regardless, just for the party scene if anything

I'm going and bringing my gear. My playing depends on what kind of money I have. Maybe it'll be a good Christmas.

if you guys are gonna put togeather an AO team i would love to jump on. Im not a god of the feild, but im no scrub (cheak out the LI AO meet thread) . LMK!!! :D

Heck, I'd be willing. It kind of sucked last year watching the games and not being able to get out on those fields.

hellz yeah (can i say hellz on the forums? ehh i will try it see what the mods say). but im just startin to creep outta credit debt from the long island meet i should be ready to max some plastic again soon!!! and its always a great time throwin paint with ao'ers!!!

Hey Load, I am originally from just up the road in Baton Rouge, I was thinking of going home around then anyhow. I wanted to play in this years Mardi Gras but work precluded it. Hopefully that will not be an issue if I plan for it right now.

N'awlins is a place that should be experienced by everyone at least once in their lives, who knows, they might even remember some of it :D

I doubt the team that I am trying to put together down here will be ready/able to play in it but I would love an excuse to go and play, so keep in touch with me if you are going to go, I will talk to work next week about the time off so there are no suprises.

I went last year and plan on going every year. I absolutely loved MG. I'd love to play it this year.

Why not? Worst that could happen is we get bent over. But at least we'll get to play and not just watch. Someone needs to captain this thing and we'll nee a few more good players. Want to hold online auditions?

OK... but it won't be nearly as disturbing to the masses :)

You want to lead this one? I've never played a huge event, just local state leagues, etc. Not sure of all the coordination needed but I need to learn.

Sounds to me like you have more experience than I do. My experience is limited to 5-6 local tourneys.

I can understand you wanting to do a tourney before joining the navy... just don't automatically give up paintball while in the navy. I did and wished several times that I had kept my equipment because there were fields near the places I was stationed.

Just my $0.02

I guess I'll open a clean thread regarding this AO team effort.

no prob, im not giving up by anymeans, just excepting the fact that its going to be a lot harder to play. i would like to say il join you guys, but m not sure what my local guys are doing. ill let ou know
