I was just wondering if anyone here knows if it is possible to put a warp on a Tippmann C98. I'm trying to compact the marker down as best I can and I thought that this may work as a way to eliminate that blimp on the top of my marker and keep myself a little more concealed in a bunker. If anyone knows if and how this would work, I'd appreciate any info you could provide.
Thanks.

I don't see why it wouldn't work. You'd have to get a PTP warp though, they've got some other adapter or another.

Hi,

You can use the PTP power feed or the LAPCO Direct feed. I tried it on a Model 98 I have. It was really cool but I wanted the warp to work with my mag set ups which it didn't at the time. Now a friend has the warp on his back up 98. It's really cool looking with the CAR stock and a descent barrel like the LAPCO Autospirit.

Later,
Alan

I have done several on RT'ed 98's

here was a cheapie :

This was done when the AGD kits didnt have the PF adapters, when the adapters came in I put it on the PTP adapter.

The gun actually feels lighter and more comfortable because the hopper mass is in the center as opposed to being in the front.

With the hopper mass in the front (stock M98), it makes the M98 front heavy. It actually "feels" heavier because of the torque on your shooting hand. You MUST use your off hand on the front gadget grip in order to balance the gun correctly. With a warp it really feel much more comfortable because the location of the hopper mass is lower and closer to your body.

(note: I'm currently waiting for Modified Paintball to deliver a Lapco Direct feed... it's been on back order for a long time now:rolleyes: )

The funny thing is, it's easier, more fun, and far less stressful to dump money into a less expensive gun (to trick it out) than a more expensive one.

To me, that low blow gun looks like the result of "fun" tinkering project.

It's like rebuilding an old VW and tricking it out to the max in order to perform like a Ferarri.

I got tired of waiting for the Lapco Direct Feed...

(Modifiedpaintball.com keeps telling me it's still on back order... for 2 months - *sigh* oh well...:( )

...so I decided to make my own.

- 90 degree brass elbow (plumming dept. at hardward store)
- Super glue (pure concentrate - industrial strength)
- baking soda
- Dremel
