View Full Version : Help me with my new PB name!
I won't lie to you guys, my friends have nicknames and we can't think of one for me, and i dont like having "candy ***" (my hockey name) yelled at me at a paintball game...it ruins my groove. so im feeling like a dork here and i need some help.
Each person i play with has a nickname relating to their playing style. for instance one of my friends who ALWAYS fans his trigger is called the "regulator", and one who takes charge is called "the general.
well i need you guys to help me with my nickname (no, it cant be Brak). heres what i play like:
I usually come up with a strategy beforehand, and try to keep track of everyone (including my opponents). Once the playins starts, i usually chill in the middle/back for a bit, asses our position, and sometimes get a partner to execute a plan (i get a partner for firepower to flank, for instance). but most of the time i use the road less travelled (i go through the bushes, instead of going around them, risking a hit), and try to take out as many people possible by catching them in a bad spot (a little while ago i caught someone in between trees with less than 3 shots, and last week i took out someone running into their base from across a lake, with minimal cover). but i dont always play conservatively, sometimes, usually at the end of the day, i go balls-out and take out as many people as possible)

Just look at yourself and point out features.
I have a purple mask and purple tank cover so I asked everyone to call me purple.
Simple as that :D
Although you do catch alot of laughs :(

You want a simple name, one describing you, or something people dont have to think about for 5 mins to remember.. ;)
You could just ask them to call your name, thats what happened last time to me.
Keep in mind that the player wants to focus on the game, not remembering what you told them to call you..
You could even ask them to call you Brak! :p
spazzed-im not a control freak. most of the time i have to because im the most experienced. but if im not, i always leave it to someone else. to be honest, i dont care what other people do as long as we win.
personman- the whole reason of having our code names is to have fun! most of the time we forget and use regular names anyway. but i still want a cool name!
my nickname is loser(thats at school) then on the field its once again loser... cause thats what im good at ....
Brak-we should hookup sometime, id enjoy playin with some fellow ao'ers, maybe we could start ct ao meet

I'm frausty cause I show now mercy, and sometimes.. I can even be what you'd call cold-blooded on the field.. Yummy :)
How bout "Brains" You seem to use your head when playing...sounds good to me..

I think I should fill everyone in on nicknames, there IS a set of rules you know.
1. you CANNOT!! EVER! EVER EVER EVEEER! give yourself a nickname IT'S LAME!!!
1.a you MUST be GIVEN a nickname
2. You can however pull a wussy an tell people to not call you the name you were given
3. Rule number 2 is for women who may be offended by their nickname, WOMEN!
4. Porno nicknames work as such
your first name +either your first pets name, or the first word in your street address, I am Mike Woods (pretty good right?) first name Mike, streets first word woods.
Maybe that helps ;)
Usually something funny will happen and you'll get a name, tell your friends to help ya out a bit.

I agree totally with FreshmanBob. YOU CANNOT ASK FOR OR MAKE A NICKNAME FOR YOURSELF! Nicknames are made from things you do or have done etc. Sometime in the future you will do something or people will know you enough and will just call you something that is easier to say or funny or something like that. If you have a short real name (like Joe or Bob) then you probably don't need a nickname, cuz your name is so short its easy to say.

Espo- we should definitely play paintball sometime, and if we do, we should talk to dio91, he live in ct also. do you ever go to extreme paintball in monroe? thats the closest one to me. maybe we could get a few CT ao'ers there or maybe hogan's alley

I picked up the nic Rhino for couple reasons.. I'm big and like to run.. and 2 I ran a lil kid over while running for the flag
