i took apart my valve for the first time and i took out the regulator spring pack out and wiped the grease off the sides of the springs, but there is still alot in there

will it be ok to leave it as it?

or should i go down to the hardware store and get some more grease.... but what kind!?

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!

just clean it off and re-lube it with white lithium grease - i've used it for years with no problems.

But, if there is something better, I'm open to change...

Methinks white lithium greese is the preferred stuff around here. So have at it!

is that the same stuff as dow 33 shocker lube?

or is it better or not as good?


just checkin cause i could get a tube at my paintball store

dunno if its any better or worse, but lets say for the argument below that it works just fine then....

shocker lube - $8.00 a 2oz bottle (did a quick search online and looked at the first place I found)
lithium grease - .96 cents a 14oz tube (again, online)

I'll take the lithuim grease, buy a couple of extra o-rings and have a big mac!
