Having problems with new retro valve, very high air consumption... A 68ci 3000psi tank is lasting roughly
700- 900 balls. My marker is running around 285fps, is there any type of regulator one could use to help solve this problem or is my marker just an air hog......

firstly welcome to AO!!!!!!!!!!!

secondly thats not that bad. 68/3000s are only supposed to get around 600( i could be wrong though) shots per fill.

ONLY 700-900?!? Whoa, what were you shooting before?

I get 700 out of a tank TOPS. I'm also on a 68/3000. Might have to do with the 950 psi input... :D

well as teh other 2 have already stated... you are getting probly a little better then the rest of us as it is.....

rule of thumb on shots per 3k fill is to take the ci of the tank (in your case 68) and multiply by 10 (ie 68 X 10 = 680)

thanks for the info agd owners, so you say to multiply the (ci x 10) for a 3k tank what about a 4500psi tank what is that formula (ci x 15)..................
once again thanks

yup X15 for the 4.5k tanks.....

that will give you the approx shot off the tanks when full....
